No shame here. I shoot a Barnett Stalker 390 that actually shoots about 365fps. Rage 2" expandable. Hawke 1.5-5x36 scope. Crossbow is legal during all seasons in SC so that's what I use during archery and muzzleloader.

Bro congrats!!! Use whatever you want to use to hunt as long as it is legal(lol). It is about the hunt and pursuit not the weapon of choice. That deer steak is going to taste just as good as if you killed it with a spear, sling shot, blow dart gun or a red rider bb gun. Congrats
