That is a fair statement. As a wrestler we always said if you are blaming your loss on a call the ref made you didn’t deserve to win anyways.

Just to stir the pot tonight.
What the heck is the omnipresent line "will have to make adjustments at halftime" all about? This is one of my many pet peeves. If there is an adjustment that needs to be made, why not make it, RIGHT THIS INSTANT. Seems like a crappy line that both announcers and coaches pull out of their back of nonsense in every single game, just to fill the dead air.
And just to toss out another peeve, and a relatively new one for me, is what is the purpose of black warpaint? Seems particularly fashionable on QBs, and now we have the 'Venus Williams" one-sided asymmetry thing, for the first time as far as I have seen. Indoor games, outdoor games, night games, day games, cloudy days, sunny days. Always this ridiculous paint. Seems at least as ridiculous as wearing glam jewelry in a game (why is that even allowed?). Okay, that was a third peeve.
Just to return to a positive note, the game ain't bad. Ain't bad at all. The Eagle are mortal and the Giants are not just pretty faces.

Yeah the adjustment thing is annoying. Like, taking your car to get an alignment vs. Filling it up with gas because the gas light came on.

If its sunny, the black stripes or any level of paint on the cheeks will reduce the glare on them improving your vision.
Much more impact full on a white skin person compared to brown/ black person.
Not nearly as helpful with reducing night light glare

Yeah I have heard that before. But if it were true, race car drivers and tennis players and golfers and bass pros and a gazillion other people would be all over that. And they wouldn't be doing just one cheek, either. I think it is just fashionable decoration for football players, like those gawdawful necklaces.

Well the impact of glare is going to mostly impact those having to make fast quick decisions instead of wearing sunglasses where having them on could be impractical.
Baseball I believe is where it all started and not football as hitters having to make a split second decision found it easier on their eyes to catch the ball coming at the plate.
Tennis players do wear them but its pretty uncommon in the professional scene. Probably due to the "club attire" etiquette.
Race car drivers and bass pros use sunglasses instead.

NOpe, I like the taunting - its fun and why not, you just schooled the guy - he deserves to be ashamed and embarrassed. Maybe he won't allow it to happen again. Instead we are teaching kids these days thru the NFL that people have feelings you can hurt and we need to be careful about that. All these kids these days are already softies and a bunch of woosies.
