I live in a dry township so it is possible. I didn't even know that was possible in WI yet I somehow managed to buy a home thinking I found paradise here

I understand the history of blue laws and they are quite common the further south you go. The county I lived in Illinois had no Sunday sales unless the establishment served food, but you didn’t have to order food to be served alcohol. To me that only promotes drinking and driving.

I didn’t know such a thing existed in Wisconsin.

While watching the Broncos last night, my brother texted me: "don't watch the Tyreek Hill knee injury".

David is a connected dude in the sports medicine world, and told me that Tyreek is lucky that there were at home. This means that the team doctor, John Uribe would be Tyreek's surgeon, which is important, as this surgeon is the "world's best" at complete knee dislocations. David also said that when a knee is blown apart as bad as this one appears, there is a real chance that the popliteal artery could be damaged, and threaten the loss of the lower leg.

As a Chiefs fan, I had heard rumors that Tyreek was possibly coming to KC before the trade deadline hit.... not so much now.

I think when Teddy Bridgewater injured his leg at training camp in 2016 amputation was very much a possibility. I think he made a few attempts but his career never materialized after that.

Yup. Reports from the practice field that day were players we vomiting upon seeing it. He never returned to the player he was, but has had a formidable career as a backup. Currently Bucs backup.
Great all around dude. Got suspended from the Miami high school he coached for financially helping students with low income backgrounds with travel, meals, etc., to be able to keep playing football. Probably one of the most well liked guys in the league.

Yes that was dumb. we gotta be able to review some things case by case and make a judgement call before penalizing.

I woke up just in time last night to see that 49ers stop on 4th down. That stick that the linebacker stepped up and made was like John Lynch. The choice to go for it by the Rams was ballsy, but I like the attitude. The straight handoff dive was a questionable play. Stafford is not the most fleet of foot but a RPO play there would have got the first down.

I watched most of the game.

To me the two outstanding stops were the goal line punch/fumble tos top the TD, and then the final 4th down stop.

I like close, hard fought games like that.

Kentucky still has them IIRC.
Indiana did not allow alcohol sales on Sundays until a few years ago. Went to school in Terre Haute and we’d drive over the state line to buy a few cases on Sundays….
