Football General Talk

As a Packer fan, thrilled. Picks were fine, but more so proud that a small town was able to pull that off. It was 10-years in the making, and the draft transformed the entire area around Lambeau.

Sounds like in-person numbers were really strong and the TV ratings were through the roof. I had my doubts, but sounds (and looked) like they nailed it.
I think folks are downgrading their drafting two receivers too much. Their 2nd one Williams is raw but has a lot of potential as a swiss army knife, my comp would be Cordarelle Patterson. Did think Belton was a bit of a reach, but with time he could be a good one.

I hope the experience in Green Bay encourages the league to consider other places, it looked great and went over well. Have an in law that lived a few blocks from Lambeau at one time, there's really nothing like that setting anywhere else.

Defensive backbacks who played all of the game and were about the team and not themselves -- Steve Atwater, Ronnie Lott, Mel Blount, Rod Woodson, Palamalu, Ed Reed, Jack Tatum. These guys would come up to hit earl campbell or the like. "prime time" would look like mitch mcconnel another turtle, but can find a way to sell himself to the enlightened.

Man the falcons official kid is learning a hard lesson--and good I say.

Falcons fined 350K and the kids dad fined 100K for his kids prank phone call to Sanders.

In all fairness, some very good defenders ended up in the same position after trying to tackle Bo.

Regardless of one’s like or dislike for Neon, he was a phenomenal cover corner.

The only guys that were not trucked by Bo were guys that never tried to tackle him. Sure wish he had stayed healthy.

Deon was a great player that I would never want on my team in any capacity. Some things are more important that skill.
