Well the doctor recommends this surgery and I’m gathering information on it today.

Anyone had this sinus surgery before? Curious as to impacts on a fall hunting season. Understand the first week is the worst and then from there is a 6-8 week timeline to full recovery. Issues hiking, packing, etc?

Not super excited to have a procedure that is mostly under control with OTC nasal steroids, flare ups sure are miserable though. Unless I’m way off base I liken it to having a knee replacement when Tylenol still takes the edge off.

Just curious as to people’s experiences.

Had it done in 05. Hard to breath till they pull the mini tampaxes out. After that it was get on with life. Have a friend that had it done twice.
It's memorable. You will do better afterward. It's not as bad as having your mother-in-law live with you.

Brother has had it done, seemed better afterwards but the recovery was NOT a short one for him...also said that when they pulled out those tampons described above he could of sworn they went clear to his a$$hole
