Last time I hunted lion was in Meeker. I tracked one down and found a kill site and set up up wind from the kill site and waited roughly 4 hours before it showed up. I got it with one shot at 150 yards. They tend to circle the kill site if they are nervous so be prepared for that.

I will be hunting both lion and bear in 2020. Can't wait.

Glad you made the sit! I personally thought there was a fairly high percentage chance of killing, very few cats won't return unless the carcass is mostly gone. Big Congrats!!

How cool!! Nice work!

Would be neat to do something like a double Euro... with the skull of her last kill mounted beside hers. Something like that would help tell the story and be really unique. Love it! ETA: Something like this is kinda what I'm thinking. Just food for thought:
