Ever heard of American Tactical imports?

I was browsing on gallery of guns, and found a screaming deal on a flat-top AR. The problem is I have never heard of the manufacturer/importer. If anyone has any input I would appreciate it, I don't want to waste my money on a lemon.

I'm familiar with them as an importer as their name suggests. Mostly they import .22lr spinoffs of tactical weapons. I've not seen them import anything bigger than a .22lr, my spidey sense is tingling...

While AR's are a ton of fun, I'd stick to someone that you've heard of, or that has a rock solid reputation in the industry...

Thanks, I kinda figured there was a reason they were so cheap. Guess I'll keep saving and get a bushmaster as Gunner suggests.

I built an AR using one of their lowers. Not sure how much difference there is in some of the more common parts like lowers & uppers. I never had a problem with mine.
