Yep; I've a feeling he's in the black timber up the side of Saddle mountain above Adam's Park in the Routt National Forest. He really loved that area.

My grandfather is 94, he just moved to Hawaii last year to be in a warmer climate. I can only hope to have his genetics and live a good life that long.

I'd like to express my thanks to those who responded with sentiments and prayers. Dad outlived everyone in his generation, siblings and cousins alike, with the exception of his 85yr. old brother who is my regular hunting partner when going after deer, turkey, ducks and dove. Thankfully I have plenty of cousins and nephews to carry the torch as well.

Got to be happy with getting to 98 Tarheel, looks like he had that twinkel in his eye and a love for the outdoors...damn fine innings..sorry for the loss, but no doubt there is a lot to reflect on for you and your family with the time you had together.
