Since I struck out in all of my draw tags this year I was stuck going to the land of the OTC orange army. .for the first time. It actually wasn’t as bad as I expected. After five tough days the elk gods came through. DIY.public land.thank you Colorado.

Yes sir! We wanted to get the full meal deal since we don’t have our own horses. First time we have done something like that and we really enjoyed it

Awesome! I'm going to be looking into doing something similar in the next 2-3 years with my 2 boys. Congrats!

Life got in the way of hunting this fall. Still got pretty lucky on only my third morning.

Only elk tag this year was a spike tag for Asher. Filled his tag opening morning. Pretty funny when you have a 6 point bull five yards from a spike and you have to shoot the spike. Oh well, it will be good eating.
