Lol yeah that was a fun day. I had been chasing that game damage bull for like 17 days about an hour from the house. The old man came to visit and he wanted to go fishing, I realized we were going to drive right by the property i had permisssion on at shooting light. Threw the kill kit the rifle and the orange in the back seat. Ended up running out through the chicos in fishing clothes and Crocs. Fun morning. Never thought id be hauling elk meat in the boat.
Son stick his first elk! 35yd shot. Elk had hung up and barked. His brother barked right back at the bull and that caused him to step forward a few more steps… and the rest is history!
