Hunting them in corn can be a slam dunk or so frustrating you wanna pull your hair out. Today has been the latter. I can see them 200 yards in the corn, they just won’t come out and there’s no way to stalk them.

Used to hunt whitetails in the corn we wore wool jackets and pants and hun crossways to the rows. Stick your head into next row and look up and down the row, if no sighting move to the next row. If game is sighted a ways off back out 4 rows and close the distance. Keep the wind in your favor or you will never get within sight.

This is one of the ivories from a cow I shot last weekend. I’ve never seen a cavity like this in an ivory, anybody else see something like this.
Had to have hurt, it’s a huge hole.
