Day 60 Record Elk Update?

I had the elk offically scored on November 11th.
The Gross Non typical score is 447-0/8 inches.
Gross typical is 444-2/8 inches.
Net typical is 430-0/8 inches.
It has 60 inch main beams. The thirds are 24 and 25 inches long.
It is an incredible elk.
A story on the hunt will be out soon.

That's a great first post. Best I've seen yet. Welcome to HT and Congrats on an incredible elk.

Welcome Droptine and thanks for the update. I am anxiously awaiting the story. Congratulations on an amazing bull.

So from what I can see... that puts it at #4 typical B&C and #1 typical P&Y.

Just...wow. Congrats!

That is "holy shit big" for sure!

Geeze! It looks huge in the pics, but with that score they really don't do it justice. Congrats, lots of room to spare compared to the current record which is amazing

I think that's officially the best first post of all time. In the future, when we refer to a great first post, we should call it a "Droptine 86". Oh... and... congratulations. That's truly incredible. I have a feeling you're gonna be a busy guy.

Welcome to the site and congratulations on your bull. I have to say I think you are smart the way you have handled the publicity of this bull. Way to much speculation and jealousy accompanies most potential W.R. kills. Can't wait to hear how it went down.

It is an amazing animal, not some freak like the spider bull.

I don't remember the exact date, but I remember a thread a few years ago where we came up with a Frankenbull by adding up a ton of different bulls different folks had taken over the years and taking the best of each one of them. 3rds off one bull, main beams off another, etc.

I think this bull would have contributed pretty much across the board except maybe on mass measurements and width. Maybe some bigger 4ths as well, but to have that kind of tine length on nearly every set of tines is just amazing.

The net is amazing, extremely symmetrical for that big of a bull!

Congrats, that is truly a once in a many lifetimes bull.
