My only cougar experience was a woman setting next to me in writing class. She was late 30s. Casually flirting, wanting to get coffee after class, etc., all the while complaining that her husband didn't understand her "creative side". Maybe so. I was newly dating this hot redhead. She ultimately slipped me a poem about entwining with a young supple body. Fortunately, she had misspelled a couple of words, so I corrected them and sent it back.

And married the redhead. 44 years this December.

And, now, I feel bad. She was clearly in pain, and I could have had coffee, said I wasn't her answer, but that is the perspective of 60, not 20.
