Critters ATTACKING your game cameras?

While i was Sitatunga hunting deep jungle in Cameroon a cow Forest elephant tore a camera off a tree and stomped on it. Recorded by another camera.

Those pesky forest elephants will get you every time! I had had a dollar for every time.....

Damn woodpeckers have pounded a few holes in a couple of my cameras.

One of mine they broke the lens out.

black bears here in MN, day or night, most of the time they come up and give it a few sniffs but others they'll push it around on the tree. knock on wood, they have not destroyed any cams yet. I used to buy metal boxes for them but i buy cheap cams so I got sick of making my $60 cams into $100 cams. Also used to be able to use mineral sites and it seemed to get more bear attention, maybe due to handling the cams/minerals they may have smelled something they liked on the cams?
