Being a avid coyote hunter I am really wanting to make a trip "out west" for coyotes. There is not much for public lands in these states and what there is a guy could burn through calling in a few hours, with hours between spots. Has anyone Had much luck asking for permission? Around here you pretty much have to know the guy and most only own maybe 100ac so getting enough ground is a lifetime of work. I Know getting permission for deer hunting and such can be tough but figure predators would be easier?

If you make it to Northwest South Dakota I might be able to get you in touch with some landowners.

Depending on the time of year I have had good luck at getting permission, after all deer hunting is over is best. Most don't care after that and if they have cattle I have had better luck with them

With the recent good prices on coyote hides, permissions will be harder to come by than ever.
