Had same thought. A gridlocked Congress often does less damage than a partisan one.

A game warden told me once that if a state land, blm, etc pin was in the ground, and you crossed there, no one could say you missed your mark.

I'm all for your input and love hearing a lawyers perspective...but this has to be the worst argument ever... statistically speaking no one is a murderer....everyone is innocent

A paranoid LO could set up cams at particular corners to prove something.

Just imagine how you would feel if your neighbors onx showed the neighbors boundary was 35 feet in your yard and the neighbor started parking their car on what the neighbor believed to be their property because of onx. Even though there is a pin or marker somewhere that the neighbor can't see because of brush or higher grass.

If that neighbor was a mile from my house and any other structure, in a spot I hadn't personally stood on in years, and did not damage my land I would give him a pass and not be an ass . . . but that's just us flat landers for ya.

Haven't proved anything... you say probability, which is not certainty.

Certainty is not the legal standard. It's like saying you can't convict without an eye witness, or can't convict on circumstantial evidence. Each individual jury would get to decide for themselves.

As for cojones to cross. Did it without concern before. Just trying to keep the discussion accurate - and then folks can decide for themselves.

Even a proper survey that far out in the middle of nowhere will have error bars bigger than your foot. Hopefully the courts set some type of "de minimis" standard -- but the courts can be literal at times that seem stupid.

Depends on state and purchase agreement terms. But one thing is true - the seller can only sell the rights they have (even if they don't know them) and a buyer can only buy what the seller can sell (even if they don't know that).

Greatest two years in MN history -- GOP in the House, DFL in the Senate, Jesse the Body in the Governor's mansion. Only two things got done. Jesse's wife had a horse ranch so horse ranches got a big tax credit and Jesse was pissed at the sales tax amount on his new SUV so that got lowered.

How come DNA matches can convict - just a simple probability? Also, this case is civil, not criminal and the standards are significantly lower - guilt isn't even a thing.

Govt officials can opine on anything they want, and you can't rely on any of it. "But the IRS agent told me . . . " Try that one and see where it goes.
