I wrote a long, windy narrative earlier this month about blowing it on a good buck in Oregon, so I’ll keep this short and sweet. I had the pleasure of hunting in Colorado for the first time ever, and got to do it with my dad. I think I’m in love with that place. We saw a lot of deer and a lot of gorgeous country, and got to spend some solid time together. We both got lucky on a couple nice bucks the day after the opener.
