IDK why I never think to do trips like this, it's incredibly doable.

Westport is my favorite port to fish out of, bottomfish and salmon. I know some good boats and crews there. The boat basin coho fishery should be starting now. Catch coho right in the boat basin fishing off the public floats.

Westport is my favorite port to fish out of, bottomfish and salmon. I know some good boats and crews there. The boat basin coho fishery should be starting now. Catch coho right in the boat basin fishing off the public floats.

We fished bottomfish out of Westport in 2019 and had a great time and nice haul of rockfish and a few lingcod. Planned to make it an annual trip but life gets in the way. I need to get it on the calendar for next summer.
