I won't get too far into the details because it's not my place to talk about the group's routine. The processor charge for me came to $708 for 154 pounds of filets and 4 boxes, including tax. We figured the boat averaged 1000 pounds of fish per day with 8 people. That we KEPT!

And then you have to pay to get it home.....I'm going to have to guess then that this trip was in the 5-6k range since you can't get into details...

That was different for everyone depending on how they handled it. Some went air cargo and some all checked baggage. My airfare for 4 boxes was $345.

Rough figure of my personal expenses was around $4300 all in. Flew for free with air miles and stayed at a hotel in Chicago to get a shuttle to and from the airport and have a place to park my truck. I gassed up the rental to cover my share of incidentals the group had before I got there. Very happy with the trip and what we were set up with as well as what we brought home. Different charters and lodging options will change your cost depending on what you look for.

No doubt. I think a person could do a trip as cheap as $1000 all in but you certainly could easily spend over 10k per person.

Air cargo is around .70 a pound I can usually get a moose back to my house in Montana still froze for around 600 bucks. Sounds like a great trip

Both, and those are actually pacific cod, ling cod was closed although we did catch a few that we had to release.

A lot depends on how much fish you get. I believe my 4th box had 16 pounds of fish in it. $60 for processing, $20 for the box and $150 for baggage fee. $230 because we got "just that much more". I think the guys that did air cargo were around $50 per box but don't quote me. I didn't want to do that. I also spent $300 for the preflight hotel room and parking. Catching a ride and losing a box would save over $500! Pretty easy to go up or down with costs.

I was closer to $3400 that includes lodging for 6 days + vehicle, processing, boat for 4 days + tip, license, plane ticket.

If you only fished 3 days, it would likely be closer to $2500.
