it depends on what kind of shooting and what the terrain is. I also like the trigger sticks, they are nice and get you above the sage and such.

I have both and prefer the bipod.

Monopod (stoney point) or sticks

They don't have to be mutually exclusive. I can get by with bipods on flat to slightly rolling terrain. Anything with much relief I find them more of a problem than a help. I do like shooting sticks though and take them everywhere.
