Cementum aged critters - Let’s see them..

This one was aged way back in 2009 I think. I don’t remember if they had the reliability grading back then or not.

Aged at 8. I had just bought the property the year before I shot him so no long term history with pictures but he did regress from the year before.

This one was aged at 4 with a "B" reliability and a range of 3-4 years.

I think he was at least 5 but could have been 6 or even 7 based on looking at his jawbone. I don't have a long history of trail camera pictures of him but I do have a few.

Here he is when I killed him. Based on the saggy skin around his neck he sure seemed like an older buck to me.

Here is his jawbone. The top one. The bottom jawbone is from another buck I killed that year that a biologist aged at 4.5 based on looking at it's jawbone. That would make me think for sure this buck is at least a couple years older than that.
