Car Insurance - (For 16 year-olds)

My son had multiple speeding tickets and totaled a car. Was glad to get him off my insurance!!

Both of my kids started driving the same summer. They each got a starter car paid by mom and dad and paid us what the insurance premium increased by for their share through part time work while in high school and college.

We paid cash and got my kid an 07 Jeep. Pay about $50 a month for insurance. Our agent warned us about it. Liability only.

Funny thing is my boy is 18 and is driving a 2011 Lincoln mks and is looking at getting a new maverick for college. Called on insurance and our agent said it would be the same payment a month
