I noticed many good comments on here from Starlink customers. I'm interested to know if you can make phone calls over the link since it includes a router that I assume includes WiFi capabilities. I know most cell phones these days are capable of WiFi calling. What about delay since the signal is bouncing off satellites? This also assumes the Starlink network is connected to the Public Switched Telephone Network.

Centurylink was absolute garbage, taking the subsidized govt rural internet money and not doing jack squat, simply letting the basic old phone lines continue breaking down service.
Repair tech would occasionally make it to our house and straight up tell us, he basically comes out and switches the most recent complainant to one of the stronger phone outlets at the main box and wash, rinse, repeat as another along our rural dirt residential road would later call to complain. It was not fiberoptic, straight old school phone line and no intent to run fiberoptic.
Starlink rolled out for qualified rural locations and we gave it a shot. 100x's faster than Centurylink straight away.
At first, our phone calls would drop. No cell signal and dropped centurylink brought us to depend on Starlink. It was evident as a new satellite would enter view a second or two after another would leave.
More satellites released and less and less dropped and Netflix, Amazon, streaming YouTube became the norm at the house.
Starlink is flipping awesome. Trying to learn the process and expense associated with a mini dish for our travel trailer or if it's worth it as most places, it seems, we're able to use our phone as a Hotspot for streaming a movie - such as the long, long, trailer with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz...
As for Elon? He can suck it! Though thanks for the awesome internet and sat phone capabilities.
