I drew and took a cow in the last February hunt this past season. Let me know if you have any questions happy to share my experience. This is a pic we took after I shot my cow the first evening.

To yourself, Wildwill and Lostinthewoods did you guys draw the cow tags as a 2nd or 3rd choice? Ive been applying for bull permits but looking at putting in for a cow license for my 2nd and 3rd choice with the guy Im applying with next year. Good luck on your hunts this winter.

This was my third or fourth year applying for a cow tag as my 3rd choice. Less then a month away and I'm excited.

Awesome. Thanks for your response. Im curious where you have to access it from to walk in. When I hunted it in 92 we rode in 1 ton dually trucks (8-10 guys) to a randomly drawn are A-G and hunted for 2.5 days. Its surprisely rugged in the sections I hunted and had about a 1/2 of ice covered freezing rain. Best of luck
