Thank you. The pace that I am getting and posting these shots will probably slow down as soon as the leaves come out. Visibility will be reduced to almost nothing when the leaves fill in the openings that I have been getting my shots through.
First time in my life that I have found a woodcock in the middle of a gravel road in sunny conditions. Normal behavior for this species is finding them at dusk on a muddy road with puddles.
Chestnut-sided Warbler: I have only seen two of these in my life. Migration from Central America (wintering) to the North central and North eastern US and Canada (breeding). It does not look like there is much compromise for breeding/wintering grounds. Actually a neat looking bird.
