Bragging - Proud Daddy

I see some really good grandkid and parent bragging going on around here and I never want to miss a chance to brag on mine. Last night was the 67th Annual Daily Mail Band and Majorette Festival, it's always a big deal to the local high schools. My daughter has been going to watch the festival since she was 4 and couldn't wait to compete in it. This year she made feature twirler as a Freshman (she's 14) and got her chance to compete. We didn't have high expectations going in for a win as a freshman since that has never happened but she did not disappoint. She preformed great and looked the part taking the Daily Mail Kanwaha Valley Miss Majorette title.

True story, the band festival did not receive the correct tiara in time so they had to borrow that one............from a drag queen. He used to be on the flag corp when I went to the same high school.
