I see a banded mallard drake. Maybe a YOY bird, hard for me to say. Still not seeing anything in #7. Is there a band on one?

Yes banded mallard drake in pic#6 and banded goose last pic. Like I said I need to take better pics but I usually only have my shitty walmart phone on me.

I've only shot one banded bird - a web-banded YOY snow goose. Took a grad student out last year and he shot is first goose - leg banded Canada. I guess I just don't live right

Nice job! Was the mallard immature? He didn't quite eclipse. Either way, great job!

I think the mallard was central Wisconsin and the goose was pretty close to Hudson bay without looking it up.I've only shot one banded bird - a web-banded YOY snow goose. Took a grad student out last year and he shot is first goose - leg banded Canada. I guess I just don't live right

I didnt shoot that mallard maybe it was an escape from a farm idk
. That pic was right around Halloween so still pretty early I guess.

I was not physically damaged by the fall, though I was not 100% BEFORE the fall and that may have been part of it.

The pic with the kids is priceless!!
That shot was with a Nikon D7200 and a kit lens (18-105). It isn't a bad set up, I just missed focus and didn't take advantage of a better light angle.
This one was the day before with a D750 and 70-200 2.8. Little better.
