Birds are game too

I took a brief jaunt through the prairie and put 3 three in the bag. I fired only two shots (one was a cripple that could only fly about ten feet at a time). This is Max’s first real season, and he is quite the pheasant hunter, making up for flushing all the grouse he found before pheasant season.

So cool. Now pheasant is a bird I love to eat and plan to add to add that to my Wyoming hunt schedule.
They are hard to come by in southeast ND this year, all the birds are in the corn. Shot that one about 30 seconds into the hunt and didn't flush any for the next two hours.
 
I need to take more/better pics. Look real close for the prize in pic #6 and #7

#6 looks like it might have a Merganser or two. Nothing I can see in #7 looks out of the ordinary except that is still a very unhappy goose.
