Bin Laden is dead!!!

I bet the boys in the box are proud today!! I know I am!! May he rot in Hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wife and youngest daughter are in D.C., ran the brain cancer run today and were to meet with our Senators tomorrow. Betting that won't happen. Wish they were home, now.

How bad was that reelection speech?!!! Could Obammy have taken anymore credit for himself??? Could have replaced "I" with "America" for once... Let's all remember that Bush started this mission 10 years ago and Obama was the one that ran on ending it!!

Took US ten years or so but finally got him.

I will probably get some crap for this post but here goes. 1. its great that we got him congrats to our boys over seas fighting to keep our freedoms my hat is off to them they are all bigger men than i am for risking there lives for the rest of us, but i find it funny no photos or maybe i missed them and really we shoot him and then load his a** up on a chopper and then dump him in the ocean? seems a little fishy to me thats all i am saying. feel free to hammer me on this one maybe i missed something somewhere...

So Glad they got him. Great good go's out to the special forces. Congrats guy's you got him!!!

Good to see some national pride for a change...a brief respite from ceaseless partisan bickering.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney
The ex-Bush official tells NBC News : "It's tremendous news, it really is a great day for an awful lot of people who worked very, very hard for a long time. Think about the bravery and courage of the men who carried out the operation."

"It's also a good day for the administration. President Obama and his national security team acted on the intelligence when it came in, and they deserve a lot of credit too."

No Obama fan here, but I'm proud (and a little suprised)he had the nads to say yes to that mission, especially while keeping Pakistan in the dark. I would have loved to seen Bin Laden's face when those choppers dropped into the compound and out came the SEALS:eek:
Don't stop now, I hope they take out every one of those bastards they can find!

No doubt Ken. I was hoping we wouldn't see partisan bickering over who gets credit

I understand where you are coming from on not caring who gets the credit but this has massive weight in the political ring right now. Obama had the chance to address the "teamwork"(I guess I'll go with that) bewtween his and the Bush administration in the succes on capturing Amercas most wanted man, rather he took all the credit for himself and the media will now right him up as being the "president who killed bin laden" so re elect him America! That's not good! The credit should have been split as to retain the prestige of Bushs asmistration for starting a war over a mission that is now complete. So many anti bush people complained about 2 things: he started the war in the middle east which has done nothing and he can't speak to save his life. Well at least one of those is now laid to rest. I am proud that Obammy ordered the attack but it is not as if he conducted the intel or drew up the illustrious ambush himself so why did he overshadow those who did? I'm not so much upset that he took most the credit as I am that he didn't give it to those who really deserved it. And remember he is the one who came riding into the office an anti war pussy and now he is the proud commander and chief who killed bin laden... Just another thing he has flipped on in these past 2 years...

BBD, from the transcript of the speech, could you show some examples? thanks....

Excellent news for sure. Congratulations Special Operations boys.

Asked my wife last night while watching did you hear something crack while Obama was patting himself on the back thought maybe dislocated his shoulder or something.

As far as fishy. I thought I heard on the radio al quaeda officially confirmed the death. Don't know for sure though.

Thank you to all our men and women serving and who've served.
I was fortunate to know a very special Marine who sacrificed all for our freedom.

God rest his soul.
