Best Reusable Game Bags?

I have used Koola brand from Bass Pro on whitetail deer. They work well and are tough, but I wonder if the lighter brands are worth the cost difference.

I’ve been really impressed with the deer sized ones from Caribou Gear. I’ve used them on multiple deer and antelope since 2017 and they always wash right up and are good to go. I would highly recommend them.

I've used the lightweight argali gamebags on around 15 animals. Probably due for a new set but they've held up great over the years.

I've also used the caribou gear gamebags on a couple elk. Definitely a lot heavier/bulkier but nice as well.

I have some caribou gear ones that are well over 10 years old now. They have a few stains but work perfectly fine. I bought some of the black ovis ones on camofire just to have some extras and I'm not sure I could tell the difference in them if they didn't have the name brand on the tag. The black ovis ones might be a tiny bit lighter weight material but not enough to really notice.

All of those style bags are well worth the upgrade from the old cheese cloth style ones or the 'ol pillow case. They allow the meat to dry inside the bag but don't let bugs in.

Get one from a reputable hunting-specific company. The first time you feel that cool, dry quarter after a long pack, you'll be a believer for life. It's one of the best gear investments I've ever made.

I’ve been using the Argali large game MOB bags for a few years and am really happy with them. Very light and strong.

I have loved my Black Ovis brand bags, unfortunately can’t get them anymore. I don’t know that you can go wrong with any of the reusable ones. I’m at probably 5 elk, 10+ antelope, and a handful of deer. They wash up great and seams are holding just fine. A bit of an initial investment, but so much better than the crummy cheesecloth, stretchy mesh Walmart style bags.

My wife makes all our bags. She uses cotton or linen Bed sheets and pillow cases, used.
When they get mucked up or ripped, we toss them. We get several washings and multiple uses out of them.

I have Sportsman's Warehouse canvas game bags. I have used them on probably a dozen elk. They wash up clean and show no signs of wear. For backstraps and loins I have Kuiu small game bags. They breathe and wash up really well also. Have used on several elk.

I used a set for the first time this year (RIP blackovis) and was, for lack of better words, flabbergasted by how easily they clean up

Just regular Allen quarter bags. Wash many times and they breathe well. Using a similar brand called Colorado game bags. Stay away from bags that don’t breathe, bad news….
