Reports I have been getting from some of my clients states hot weather and few elk. Had one client arrow a decent 330 class bull in NM earlier but the CO. clients have been dealing with record Temps and dry conditions. Couple of clients just got back from the second rifle in CO and reported tough hunting conditions. One shot a small 280 class 6x6 and the other passed on an even smaller 250 class 5x5 and it turnd out to be the only chance he would get. They reported of seeing some Muleys though in the 180 class but didn't have a tag. Never fails does it?

The weather got a whole lot better yesterday. Right now, 23 degrees and snowing lightly here.

I'm amazed at how many folks come out to hunt elk and don't pick up a deer tag, but hey, it's fine with me.
