Right now, just heard that black MN police officers were stopped by ICE here. Probably have a link before long.

Hard to imagine probable cause to detain a LEO.

Ok the link isnt going to work so will quote our local regional newspaper on this. Involves an officer of color from the Brooklyn Park MN police department...after she drove past ICE agents.


"When they boxed her in, they demanded to see her paperwork...of which shes aUS citizen, and clearly would not have any paperwork"

The chief said when the officer tried to record the interaction, they knocked her phone from her hands.

Only after she identified herself as a peace officer...which is a violation of policy, did they leave...with no explanation or apology.

The chief said he has heard of similar ICE encounters with other off duty officers from other departments.

Suppose you take the extremist position that unfettered illegal immigration is indeed detrimental to society at large.

My first choice would be offering plane tickets and a commercial flight to your home country. If only....

I get super tan and has been asks by border patrol when I lived in Tucson what country I was from. He didn’t believe me and asked to see my id not a big deal I don’t understand why that should be an issue and not wasting an officers times. Ow ya that was back in 06 this isn’t anything new
