No sheep for me. I only put in for bonus point for deer. My dad drew a deer tag though.

My whole family struck out for deer 
but my oldest boy drew a fall javelina for 17A & 17B near Prescott/Camp Wood. We hunted there for his spring javelina hunt and didn't see one pig. High winds and hopping around lots of private checkerboard kept us on the move.
We saw quite a few mulies then and I was hoping he'd draw the same unit for deer and javelina so we would have a better opportunity to score.
Hopefully we'll have a better outing this time around. Best of luck to those who drew!

My hunting partner (Wally) drew 13B archery.....tag #001. Looks like I'll be backpacking into the CO wilderness for 10 days alone this year since our other hunting partner drew a CA archery Tule Elk tag too!
