I am the lucky one this year! I drew x2 Arizona Archery Big Game Hunts & they are in a quality unit. The first few videos are of my last hunting experiences & with these in mind I came up with the idea of calling the little series No Excuses!

Episode #1 will show you my 2006 Elk Hunt:

Episode #1 you will see my 2009 OTC AZ Muley Hunt:

At this point I decided to merge the whole experience all into one series, which is why you have only x1 Episode #2. This is all filming for fun & I am pretty sure you won't see my muley deer shot of film (if I get one). I hunt alone a good majority of the time & I AIN'T going to pass up a shot at a 190" Muley because it's not on video. Plus, stalking to within bow range of a Huge Muley is dam TUFF!

Episode #2 you will see the begining of my 2010 adventures:

Episode #3 Getting into the Mule Deer Hunt & My 2010 Archery Pronghorn!!!

My cousin just happened to call me & ask if I needed help for just a few hours. That is the only reason we got this on film. I think it was meant to be...

My AZ Archery Elk Hunt starts next Friday & my AZ OTC Archery Mule Deer Hunt ends next Thursday. I will just say I missed the buck of my life last week & I hope to get another crack at him. I will post up some more videos next month. I hope you guys enjoy my live hunts!

Thanks for posting the video. Good stuff. That is one of the prettiest bucks I've seen. He was coming straight for you...good thing you were armed. ;)

Hey guys I just got back from my 2010 AZ Archery Elk Hunt. I shot this bull yesterday morning at 34 yards. I will post some more pictures & video when I get some free time.

Great bull Craig. It's been tough this year for archery elk, that's a dandy. I think I'm most amazed that he isn't broken.

I humbly can say that I am a very blessed man. I thank my wife for letting me spend the time in the outdoors, as you guys all know it isn't easy for a gal to work a full-time job & take care of two kids, while you are out in the field. I also can't complain or whine anymore about my terrible luck when it comes to hunting elk. Right now, I am in a very good place...

I hope you guys enjoy & when I get sometime I will post up some more pictures & video.

Stan, I did not see too many broken bulls this year. The elk activity was slow over the middle of the first week, but once the moon phase started changing it seemed like it allowed them to get a little mixed up throughout the night and the mornings picked up. As you know it was a very hot hunt, but the most rutting activity for me took place during the hottest days! I believe it was just a matter of some more cows must have finally started to cycle, but as always it was a learning experience. I am glad the elk were in great shape because it could have been a horrible rut with that heat!

Later.

High-Mid 360's Net I would guess, he only has 24-26 of mass per side. He wasn't a super old bull!
