Muzzle loader deer starts September 10. I have a couple days scouting in so far. We went fishing and camping last weekend in a unit I
can hunt, which also resulted in seeing some bucks. Nothing mature, but fun, nonetheless.
Also saw some quail in that area, so may try that this fall as well, along with chukar and huns.
My daughter will participate in the youth bird hunt end of September.
Then lions and bobcats through the winter.
