Anybody Buying Yet? Where’s the Bottom?

America is a mixed market economy, not socialism nor capitalism. FAR from either. We are beholden to our own financial wizardry to determine our retirement wealth. We paid into our economy as we reap the "benefits" of that paycheck gov't deduction over the course of our lives. The balance of power unfortunately holds a sickening necessity for the extreme entrenched - almost M.A.D. "nuclear" deterrance figuratively speaking.

During the Great Depression, when "Social Security" was created with an additional stop gap for immediate assistance towards destitute elderly, and the dawning realization we must create a means to pay to reduce an outright vastly larger population of homeless at ages the market finds little interest hiring other than the "intrinsic" value for the near term.

Meh, as usual, we all are set in our positions. IMO, Red and Blue keep stealing from the fund... Yet people keep voting for the red and blue so, the blame goes towards...

If you're an FA I'd never hire you as you obviously would not listen to clients. You're the one who asked me to say why people are selling and it's impossible to say what I myself did without it being about politics. Christ sake, it's 2 days after an election. How else can i describe it without you being butthurt by someone else's opinion? I was way too invested in stocks and I my belief is the future is risky so I'm rebalancing. You don't have to like the message but you need to swallow what people say if you ask a reason why they did something.
I think a nightmare scenario for a FA would be having you as a client...you know it all already.

I just hope you refuse ss and medicare...hypocrit.
Hypocrite, that hurts, it's like calling me a liberal. You're so smart, can you tell us all why the market didn't drop until 2 days after the election instead of the first day after?

Surprised you came out from under the bed long enough to realize it dropped.

You really would be FA's nightmare client.

God you're childish. You're so easy to bait it hilarious. I was wondering how long before you came out of your refrigerator to reply to my comments

His FA told him what a great take that was and happy he shared it, thanked him for his time and trusting his money to the firm and told him to grab a free cookie in the way out.

What's funny is I took this as a compliment. Anyone with a brain realizes the hardest customers are the ones who actually know something about what they hired you to do. I'm dealing with it now with the hacks that replaced my roof and siding from a recent storm. Ignorance is bliss on both sides many times because you don't know if you got a good end product.

Looks to me like Schmalts is following standard old guy retirement strategies.

You on the other hand Buzz, would be a nightmare client for anyone.
The irony is they both came on here and notified us they cashed out. 2 sides of the same coin 😂.
