Anybody Buying Yet? Where’s the Bottom?

I'm not sure if I'm more surprised gas has "felt" higher in the past, or just how rampant inflation has been the last few years to make $5 gas not seem so bad. That 2008 spike is crazy.
A decent read about the rough side facing one of our main export commodities, none the less our own farm to table pricing likely increase - farming and the price of diesel:

Excerpt:
But, while oil volumes continue to be drawn down from strategic reserves worldwide—the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve is down to 44-year lows—no such reserves exist for fuel, especially diesel, which fuels the global economy for trucking fleets and more. The timing is particularly bad for the agricultural sector, which relies heavily on diesel, with its harvest season typically beginning in September.
“It’s going to be trickling down the [inflationary] supply chain in the weeks ahead,” De Haan said.
The highest gasoline and diesel prices are cumulatively costing Americans over $700 million more per day versus last year. De Haan said he would not be surprised if it rises to a $1 billion daily impact. Gasoline prices are painful, he said, “but diesel is really going to be the troublesome child.”

There are hundreds of trap clubs but any one who wants to try can hit a few clays.

Well unless you are just looking for an excuse to not even try, well then, yeah. It's a big club, you could never do it. Just give up. Every sheep needs shearing but its never the other sheep who do it.

Some trap clubs are free, or open to the public.

Then there's a private one near me. $125k family membership, $350k Corporate Membership both with annual dues.

Which one do you think has better connections to power brokers?

I always wonder if those connections are real or the club just sells illusion.

If I paid $350k for that membership, the last thing I want is someone coming up to me and trying to sell me something.
The guy who pays $350K is selling. The guy that can afford to buy gets in for free ;)

I have no idea if that is true, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I’m not the expert that many of you are, but I don’t see how the market has not had a serious correction. There are so many negative forces right now. Any thoughts? Do we inflate the bubble more before it pops? Am I totally out of touch with what’s going on?
