When you work for the money you are investing, you are a lot more careful with it.
They were closer to 30k when I turned 40. 15k when I first started looking around 1996. Buzz is 60. He should have a wall full. That math get a bit fuzzy too though/ if said person spent $10k on that hunt when they were 40, it has an opportunity cost of about $100k when they are 60.
*assuming the alternative was investing it in an S&P 500 index fund (which is way less cool).
Is Stone's sheep addiction an acceptable reply?
I did "advise" my own children. Both of them owned their own fully paid for homes by about 30,
No, I'm not 60.They were closer to 30k when I turned 40. 15k when I first started looking around 1996. Buzz is 60. He should have a wall full.
This is a ridiculous statement. I’ve watched coworkers work hard for money and blow it.When you work for the money you are investing, you are a lot more careful with it.
The U.S. is not number 1 in many favorable catagories...which is counter intuitive considering the tremendous wealth.Im the definition of living within your means and currently have a good job, but its not easy for people to raise a family and pay bills nowdays. Things have increased greatly due to quantative easing and free money printing under Bush, Osama, Trump, Obiden, and Dumpster 2.0. Its very difficult on a single person or single parents to ever get ahead, but we are light years more blessed than most of the other countries

Debt is one way to get tax breaks.I’m not totally sure what this means. But I work in finance and the wealthiest people I analyze have loads and loads of debt. Total assets obviously outweigh, but the ultra wealthy have no aversion to debt.
The geniuses are on it...I'm not sure if the result is no more inflation or no more income. YMMV.

Elon Musk Says AI and Robots Will Do ‘So Much Stuff’ We Run Out of Things for Humans to Do — But ‘We’ll Basically Just Issue Money to People’
The biggest workplace debate of the next decade might not be about asking for a raise. It could be figuring out what to do when the robots have already finished the job. That’s the future Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon...finance.yahoo.com
Return to a slavery-based economy...but with robots. Power and wealth are concentrated to the few that can purchase the robots, further restricting capital flow. The scary part is some people will believe it.I recently watched an interview with Musk where he said, ""Don't worry about squirreling money away for retirement in 10 or 20 years, it won't matter." People will enjoy "universal whatever you want you can have income".
So this thread, with its 660,000 views - probably a waste of time according to him.
I just don’t believe this. AI is controlled by a handful of billionaires. Do you think they’re going to share with the rest of us? Nothing in the past indicates that will ever happen.I recently watched an interview with Musk where he said, ""Don't worry about squirreling money away for retirement in 10 or 20 years, it won't matter." I've already started filling my Amazon cart for the big day.I just don’t believe this. AI is controlled by a handful of billionaires. Do you think they’re going to share with the rest of us? Nothing in the past indicates that will ever happen.
Just goes to show that you can be a genius in one thing while still totaling failing to understand another. I've known a few people like that in my life.I recently watched an interview with Musk where he said, ""Don't worry about squirreling money away for retirement in 10 or 20 years, it won't matter." People will enjoy "universal whatever you want you can have income".
