Anybody Buying Yet? Where’s the Bottom?

I'm surprised you're 70/30 even if you're conservative. You seem to always be very skeptical.

I rarely buy individual names so I have very few ideas. I do have to say though, meta looks awfully interesting here at 610.
Fair point. I have found it pays to be skeptical. I have been cautious on valuations for a while, but valuation isn't a reason to sell. I have been skeptical of the AI sales pitch and made money being short some of those names. I am certainly skeptical of the Administration's economic team which continues to show it shouldn't be allowed to run a Dairy Queen, much less the World's largest economy. But even with all that, it doesn't mean I would even pull out of US equities completely. US company CEOs know how to pay politicians to get what they want. Mostly I'm skimming a little extra from the new batch of trading monkeys. I'm sure this will end at some point and I will lose money like everyone else. Just trying to make it a little less.

I keep looking at Fiserv and Western Union for fintech options. Wondering if the worst is behind fiserv and if WU can transform yet again with emerging technology in the digital asset space.
I'm looking at a lot of similar names. They are getting hit on tax-loss harvesting. UNH, CHRT, FI, CRM, PYPL, TGT, etc. There are quite a few. The question is what brings buyers back into these names? KVUE is interesting (around $16) because it has a bid on it that prices the stock around $21 in 12 months.

I believe that was 5 years 1 month ago.

Unless you sold on Jan 6 2023, you didn't get "fleeced"
Switching cults bought him some time!

After dealing with Starlink and FedEx to get my internet equipment, there is no way in hell I am getting into a self driving vehicle in the next 20 years.
