I don't understand decrying cost of labor while offering compensation that doesn't provide enough to afford what simple clerks used to. The last two younger fellas I talked to didn't have regular jobs. They said they want one but can't afford the pay cut. The buying power exists in the economy, but they have to work gigs to get the formerly normal share. That's not a problem caused by poor quality of the native labor force. They're trying but are shut out unless they accept slavery.

Conspiracy Theory: Anyone think the public Trump/Elon bromance divorce was premeditated?
Context: Trump is helping the donors who gave him 1.5-5 million, Elon donated $277 million.
Trump the businessman turned entertainer with thick skin (Elon too with thick skin) is never afraid of bad press and has a recurrent way of using it to his advantage. The bad PR from Musk on the ‘Bill’ to throw shade on Rep’s grandstanding complaints about the bill and indirectly diffuse their angst and eventually push it through.
Elon’s Trump-complaints about unraveling DOGE efforts to cut waste while engorging the national debt, EV mandates and subsidies terminated; all could be very helpful to restore Tesla’s Blue customer base. Adding in the discontinued Dragon project at Space X and Epstein file/logs’s deleted comment to sell the divorce. (which America already knew about Epstein connection). In the past, Elon confidently asserted he doesn’t need government handouts to be successful.

I just finished liquidating all my US holdings as of 3 PM today. With all the talk of Chinese, Japanese, Europeans and us Canadians selling off bonds in retaliation. It's not going to be a rocky road ahead.

Yep, I even got it patented, lol.
Their thin-skin in twitter-verse is part of the drama sell.
Thick skin is deep seated and reflected by their history of rebutting their critics and ignoring them.
Plus the big drop in Tesla that the media freaked out about last week is a normal occurrence. Just look at the one year chart- that stock is a jawbreaker of volatility that long term Tesla holders are accustomed to.

I like Bill Maher a lot for his fresh perspective. I disagree with a lot of what he says, but internalize many of his points and change mine as well. Mainly because he makes good points and he’s willing to change his own mind on occasion.
