Hey all. We got back a couple days ago and I thought I would share some pics. The trip went way too fast.
Getting ready to go out for Kings the first day.
Caught some small ones but nothing too big.
We went out for halibut three times and limited out each time. Didn't get any big ones but filled the freezer.
Here is my wife with her first silver. She did great and I was very proud of her. On the fourth or fifth day she asked me if that's all we were going to do was fish. I was like duh of course. Needless to say we had to take a few days to do "other" fun stuff.
We were catching so many we lost count so we had to stop and count them. Luckily after counting we still had 18 more to catch for our limit.
Asher thought his bear wanted to eat the fish.
My brother and I with the days catch. Not bad for four hours of fishing.
Saw some cool glaciers.
We saw alot of whales. Just couldn't get them to hold still for their pictures.
My 3 yr old "putting out the fire". Just like daddy taught him.
The last day we were out fishing and I caught a small halibut, and as I was bringing it up this ling cod grabbed him. The ling never was hooked but he would not let go of the halibut. It was pretty cool seeing him come out the water.
All in all it was a great trip. We caught a ton of fish and spent time with family. Can't ask for much more than that.
