If the ACA is not political how come the Senate Democrats are now trying to do what the House Repubicans shut the government down over? ie delay the individual mandate?

Honest opinion: Unless it is sabotaged by those who want to defund it, I think revenues will initially offset expenses because that was incorporated into the original law. As time goes on the TPs/Rs could cut the taxes that fund this or the Ds&Rs (probably not the TPs) could give folks like you and me an even more ridiculous subsidy without funding it - ala Bush's Medicare Part D. I really hope the TP&Rs will step up and make some responsible changes instead of the theater of repealing it.I wonder if the crap will hit the fan when the government expense vs revenue numbers come out?
