A Pastor Lays His hands on the flock

More than I care to admit, less than I probably should. Just saying that LA isn't known for it's liberal policies.
That is fair.

People here get along much better than what is portrayed, though I suppose that probably goes for most places. I sure don’t feel all the social strife that I hear about when I am out and about. Most folks are plumb neighborly regardless of race, religion sexual orientation, political leanings, etc. But of course there are always exceptions and it seems like we mostly only hear about the exceptions.

I did enjoy my time in the Pelican State. Great people overall, just like everywhere else.

Kinda sad everyone had to share a tooth though.

:)

Nobody wins a good fight. The pastor obviously won that one, but I wonder if he would do it again.
Huh? Clarification? I’ve won a lot of great fights; in the ring, in the bar, and on the street.

I am not talking about a fight with a ref.

A good fight doesn't end after 1 minute because your knuckles are sore.

A good fight lasts a while and both parties generally think that they won and even if there is a clear winner they probably aren't interested in doing it again.
Just my opinion. I learned 40 years ago that you can clearly win a fight and still lose.
That pastor lost a hell of a lot more than he won and he knows it by now would be my guess.

Well said. In the ring a good battle is where it is at; Hagler v Hearns. A good street or bar fight is over in seconds. My experience is someone swims into deep water mistakenly and their mouth/attitude writes checks that their body can’t cash.

It always surprises me that 99% of guys that start fights don’t want to fight. I’ve warned many a boy/man to not push me, because I never push back.
