A metalsmith re-stocks a No.1

When your wife wants a new rifle, she's a keeper, and as it turns out, arrived just in time for Mother's Day. 6.5 Creed, Brux 26" 1:8 twist and Paul did something fancy with the trigger, and it has the quarter rib. Planning to use 124 gr Hammers, but also got some 143 gr Norma Bondstrikes. Leica Amplus 6 3-18x44i. This is actually factory wood which Paul refinished, and, as usual, feels like glass.

Dang those are beautiful. I have 2 Ruger 1B's in 30-06 and 6mm Remington. They both have nice wood with one of them having extra nice wood and I love them both but man those are beautiful. Really thinking I need to send the one with the beautiful figured wood in for a refinish!

Just in case anyone wonders if Paul can get #1s to shoot. 300 yards, rl 19; 180 accubonds at a sedate 2980 SD around 5 300 HH. I leave for South Africa in one week. We’ll see if his work kills stuff dead.

Wow, good luck in Africa, and, another vote for the Rigby.
