I spent Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning in a new stand on a farm I never bow hunted before. I placed a stand in an area I thought would be a great location on this 350 acre farm in Va. near Jacobs school and it turned out to prove me right. Monday evening I had 7 large doe's walk in , no bucks. But as I was climbing down when I couldn't see any longer I heard some load heavy foot steps crossing the bottom. In the morning I rattled in a spike and along with him came 4 more doe's. By 10 AM it was over. This will be a great stand durring the rut.

Now for the bad news, my friend Grosvenor came home from a wedding in Tx Monday evening and in the morning after my hunt we were able to catch up on everything. He said his niece was in an ATV accident in Fairfax and is paralyzed from the chest down with limited use of her left arm and the doctors don't know if there is brain damage yet. She has been in the hospital for the past 10 days.

I'm asking for prayers for Charlotte who is 26.

Thanks

I found out today she came out of the coma yesterday, here is a link to a personial page for her.
