6.5 CM as a hunting cartridge... why?

25 years from now we’ll all be saying which round/bullet and not which caliber/cartridge.

Having shot most of my deer with a bow since the 1970's, I understand enough about physiology to know how easy it is to kill a deer under ideal conditions.

So answer me this - what in your opinion are the advantages the 6.5 CM offers over the 7mm-08 or .260?

I don't ever go to the range with my 7mm-08 or .308 and wish I had a rifle that used a smaller case, less powder and fired bullets at a lower velocity.

Will the .308 kill an animal deader than the 6.5? I know that my 300 Webby kills much deader than my 22-250. I think it's a question of how dead is dead enough?
Well if it can’t chase you or bite you that’s dead enough.
