6.5 CM as a hunting cartridge... why?

25 years from now we’ll all be saying which round/bullet and not which caliber/cartridge.

My father in law shot truck loads of Deer over his lifetime. Model 99 250 savage. We get way to caught up in Ballistics for LRH instead of Stalking and Hunting skills

Having shot most of my deer with a bow since the 1970's, I understand enough about physiology to know how easy it is to kill a deer under ideal conditions.

So answer me this - what in your opinion are the advantages the 6.5 CM offers over the 7mm-08 or .260?

I don't ever go to the range with my 7mm-08 or .308 and wish I had a rifle that used a smaller case, less powder and fired bullets at a lower velocity.
