Having shot most of my deer with a bow since the 1970's, I understand enough about physiology to know how easy it is to kill a deer under ideal conditions.

So answer me this - what in your opinion are the advantages the 6.5 CM offers over the 7mm-08 or .260?

I don't ever go to the range with my 7mm-08 or .308 and wish I had a rifle that used a smaller case, less powder and fired bullets at a lower velocity.

Is there a point where anything can be too dead? I would think that there must be a point where the animal is so obliterated that it could be considered too dead.
