From right to left, sika, fallow, hog, and axis. I passed on a small aoudad, got plenty of meat.

I think my t-shirt shrunk a little? Actually, I might have gained a few pounds.

Kind of red, white, and blue, then spangled there.
It was at my buddies place.

Yep Tom, for those not in the know Fallow and Sika venison is just great eating, they actually have good Axis deer hunting over in Northern Queensland and fallow deer in Tasmania over here in stinkin hot, ugly as sin Australia :BLEEP: :BLEEP:

Congrats on some good meat!

When and where did you say the BBQ was? :) :) Just kidding!

It looks like you got your freezer full of meat and whitetail season isn't even here yet!

Maybe this a trip that will take away the angst from NOT drawing a single tag in MT !!

Tell us where!!! :p

Its was on the private landowners part of the YO Ranch, but they have some reasonably priced hunts there sometimes too that anyone can go on, but its a fancy place too. They got a world record axis buck off of the ranch a few weeks before we did this hunt. I saw a big one too, they get hard about June, so they've been rutting lately. I heard some antler fighting and figured it had to be axis, that's all that's hard right now here. I called my friend in on the walkie-talkie, that's legal here, as its his place and we after the big axis he had seen a few times over several months. He stalked him but didn't connect and I got a glimpse of him leaveing the area.

I've ridden my cycle down in the Kerrville area many times. Truly beautiful country. Do they still have the wild ostriches on the YO. There used to be warning signs...those were some mean birds.

I've only seen them in the Shriner's area by their house a few times, I guess they keep them controlled there or they avoid the main road in and out. They might have gotten most of them out, I didn't see the warning signs. Maybe that's on the tour, they have that tour they do regularly.
