26 year wait - Utah elk hunt

Those are both monster bulls. Awesome. The only thing I ever hear about Montana on HT is of raghorns, dinks, and horrible hunting yet it seems some people still get some good animals.

Congrats on the Utah bull. That’s helluva bull.

The few pictures Tyler posted of that bull didn’t do it justice for how big it is. Having two bulls in the room together and about 800 inches antler is incredible

Definitely buried the lead.

Tyler seems like a hard working, hard fun-having, sob that anyone would love to share a couple beers with. And he still seems to be a pretty good family man. Not easy to do. This thread is what dreams are made of...

Wow ! Congratulations to both!

[deer_shooter]

My humble vote for thread of the year. Congratulations on a tremendous bull.

[NEWHunter]

I had seen Kurt posted that he drew on another forum

There’s other forums?

[IEATELK]

Tyler text a mutual friend when he killed that bull sayin he killed a mega giant…. Those pictures do justice!

@Greenhorn , can you post up a couple more of your bull with some more angles?!

[Z Barebow]

Late to0 the elk party. Fantastic story and unbelievable bulls. Congrats!

@HoytHntr4 I've been trading messages with a guide I met down there and seeing the later season bulls, etc. shocking to quote “We had 3-4 late tag clients but due to the hard winter and the quality of the elk being down this year. All but one person turned their tag back.”

He did share a pic which I’m almost positive is the bull I saw fight your bull.

Vote for @HoytHntr4 's Beaver bull pic - It's easily the best photo.

Vote on the 2023 Best Elk Hunt Photo

The Rokslide staff just voted on the 2023 finalists based on the rules in the entry thread Now it's Rokslide members' turn to pick the winners. Kifaru has upped their game and put up TWO BIG PRIZES for 1st & 2nd Place. It will be winner’s choice (meaning 1st place gets first choice of the...

I did. Those are all some great pics though.

Vote cast. For some reason, COTubbs is in the lead even though I think cprentice32 is the biggest competition.

That COtubbs photo is really good.

A Beaver local that had the archery permit. It takes a village.

Lots of footage of the big bull I tried for opening AM - and brief footage of the live bull I just posted the trailcam pic above. I never did see this one he ended up with.

Throw in a gimmicky ram skull and that guarantees you at least 50 extra votes.

I like the bull you killed without all the bullshit attached. mtmuley

@Greenhorn, were you going after "Slopes" opening morning? That bull was a monster. Lots of great bulls in that video.
